{"id":7622,"date":"2017-11-07T11:54:23","date_gmt":"2017-11-07T17:54:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=7622"},"modified":"2017-11-07T11:54:23","modified_gmt":"2017-11-07T17:54:23","slug":"investigadores-mexicanos-descubren-genes-relacionados-con-el-suicidio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/salud\/investigadores-mexicanos-descubren-genes-relacionados-con-el-suicidio\/","title":{"rendered":"Investigadores mexicanos descubren genes relacionados con el suicidio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Instituto Nacional de Medicina Gen\u00f3mica, (INMEGEN), dio a conocer el descubrimiento de 636 genes relacionados con el suicidio.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En un estudio \u00fanico en su tipo, los investigadores mexicanos advirtieron que el consumo excesivo de alcohol eleva hasta 10 veces el riesgo de cometer suicidio, del cual se han registrado alrededor de 5 mil muertes por esta causa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Humberto Nicolini S\u00e1nchez, subdirector de Investigaci\u00f3n B\u00e1sica del INMEGEN, inform\u00f3 que las muestras para la realizaci\u00f3n del estudio fueron obtenidas del Banco de Cerebros del Instituto Forense de la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Asimismo, agregaron que el consumo de drogas incrementa el riesgo de suicidio hasta 14 veces.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El especialista destac\u00f3 que se trata de la primera vez que este tipo de investigaci\u00f3n se realiza en M\u00e9xico en el cual, se analizaron aspectos gen\u00f3micos y hereditarios del suicidio en 44 personas que murieron por esta raz\u00f3n y en 30 que fallecieron por otras causas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nicolini Sanchez, quien se encuentra al frente de esta investigaci\u00f3n denominada La psiquiatr\u00eda vista por la bilog\u00eda de sistemas: Investigaci\u00f3n en el Suicidio, inform\u00f3 que un grupo de expertos analiz\u00f3 la corteza frontal (el \u00e1rea encargada de la toma de decisiones), encontrando afectaciones en esta zona en las personas que murieron por motivos suicidas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cA\u00fan falta mucho camino para encontrar m\u00e1s avances en este desarrollo cient\u00edfico, cuya finalidad es encontrar los genes que predisponen a una persona a consumar un suicidio. Esto podr\u00eda servir para realizar campa\u00f1as preventivas focalizadas\u201d, dijo el especialista.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Destac\u00f3 que los sectores de la poblaci\u00f3n con mayor riesgo de cometer un suicidio son el grupo de 15 a 24 a\u00f1os de edad y mayores de 60 a\u00f1os. Asimismo, de cada cinco individuos que intentan suicidarse uno lo consuma.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Fuente:
