El sensor es ligero, flexible y barato, con aplicaciones potenciales en la sanidad, el entretenimiento y la rob\u00f3tica.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>La tecnolog\u00eda, obra del equipo de Jinyuan Zhang y Jae-Hyun Chung, de la Universidad de Washington en Estados Unidos, muestra que desgarrando un papel de este tipo cargado con nanocompuestos y rompiendo sus fibras, se logra que el papel act\u00fae como un sensor. Puede detectar los latidos, la fuerza y el desplazamiento de los dedos, el movimiento ocular y otros movimientos.<\/p>\n<p>Estos peque\u00f1os sensores, del tama\u00f1o de una tira adhesiva sanitaria (tirita), podr\u00edan tener una amplia gama de aplicaciones en varios campos. Por ejemplo, vigilar la forma de andar de una persona o el movimiento de sus ojos puede utilizarse para inspeccionar la funci\u00f3n cerebral o identificar las acciones de un jugador en un videojuego. El sensor podr\u00eda hacer un seguimiento de c\u00f3mo camina un ni\u00f1o con necesidades especiales en una prueba en casa, evit\u00e1ndole la necesidad de visitar el hospital. Los sensores podr\u00edan tambi\u00e9n usarse en terapia ocupacional para ancianos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"IMAGEN_INSERTADA_49090\" class=\"RichTextAlignCenter aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/noticiasdelaciencia.com\/upload\/img\/periodico\/img_49090.jpg\" alt=\"[Img #49090]\" width=\"\" height=\"\" \/>En su investigaci\u00f3n, los cient\u00edficos usaron para fabricar los sensores un papel similar al papel higi\u00e9nico. Lo prepararon roci\u00e1ndolo con agua impregnada de nanotubos de carbono, los cuales crean conductividad el\u00e9ctrica.<\/p>\n<p>La tecnolog\u00eda tambi\u00e9n sirve para hacer un seguimiento de movimientos oculares.
