Los sistemas rob\u00f3ticos est\u00e1n asumiendo cada vez en m\u00e1s instalaciones agr\u00edcolas los trabajos manuales m\u00e1s extenuantes.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El equipo de Dragoljub Surdilovic, del Instituto Fraunhofer para Sistemas de Producci\u00f3n y Tecnolog\u00eda de Dise\u00f1o (IPK) en la ciudad alemana de Berl\u00edn, est\u00e1 desarrollando y ensayando un robot de doble brazo para la recolecci\u00f3n automatizada de pepinos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El robot consta de m\u00f3dulos ligeros y baratos.\u00a0 Adem\u00e1s de para recolectar pepinos de manera automatizada, podr\u00eda utilizarse para otras aplicaciones agr\u00edcolas. Incluso bajo una meteorolog\u00eda desfavorable, el robot deber\u00e1 ser capaz de identificar los pepinos maduros y usar despu\u00e9s sus dos brazos para cogerlos de forma suave y almacenarlos. Para ello, el robot est\u00e1 equipado con m\u00e9todos vanguardistas de control que le proporcionan percepci\u00f3n t\u00e1ctil y que le permiten adaptarse a las condiciones ambientales. Estos m\u00e9todos tambi\u00e9n hacen posible que pueda imitar los movimientos humanos. Los investigadores quieren concretamente asegurarse de evitar que el robot da\u00f1e los cultivos, como por ejemplo arranc\u00e1ndolos del suelo con ra\u00edces incluidas. Pero eso no es todo. El recolector automatizado debe ser al menos tan eficiente como su experimentado hom\u00f3logo humano, que puede recoger hasta 13 pepinos por minuto.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"IMAGEN_INSERTADA_49183\" class=\"RichTextAlignCenter\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/noticiasdelaciencia.com\/upload\/img\/periodico\/img_49183.jpg\" alt=\"[Img #49183]\" width=\"\" height=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Es un desaf\u00edo considerable dise\u00f1ar sistemas aut\u00f3nomos con capacidades \u00f3pticas y t\u00e1ctiles para detecci\u00f3n, valoraci\u00f3n y evaluaci\u00f3n de objetos que no sean meras piezas en una cadena de montaje. Y m\u00e1s a\u00fan si el objetivo es recolectar ciertos frutos de una plantaci\u00f3n como es el caso de la recolecci\u00f3n de pepinos: un robot debe identificar objetos verdes camuflados por un entorno verde. Adem\u00e1s, los pepinos est\u00e1n distribuidos aleatoriamente por el campo, y algunos est\u00e1n ocultos por la vegetaci\u00f3n. Unas condiciones lum\u00ednicas variables convierten en esa misi\u00f3n en algo a\u00fan m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil.
