Hace un par de a\u00f1os, la compa\u00f1\u00eda de Cupertino presento su robot\u00a0\u2018Liam\u2019<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0que tenia la funci\u00f3n de desarmar iPones para reciclar parte de sus piezas. Ahora, el nuevo modelo llamado \u2018Daisy\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, que seg\u00fan el comunicado de la empresa esta hecho con partes recicladas de su predecesor, es capaz de desmontar hasta 200 dispositivos en tan s\u00f3lo una hora.<\/h4>\n

Daisy<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0esta equipada con m\u00e1s de 20 brazos independientes que se encargan de desmantelar hasta nueve versiones distintas de iPhone, posteriormente clasifica sus componentes para separar los que pueden ser reutilizados.<\/h4>\n

El modelo anterior,\u00a0Liam<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0pod\u00eda realizar esta acci\u00f3n a una velocidad de 60 dispositivos por hora, por lo que este nuevo modelo superara la capacidad de procesamiento significativamente.<\/h4>\n

Para dar un idea m\u00e1s amplia del avance que este proceso\u00a0de reciclaje de desechos electr\u00f3nicos significa, un ser humano tardar\u00eda aproximadamente siete minutos en desmantelar los componentes de un iPhone, mientras que Daisy tiene un promedio de 3.3 dispositivos por minuto.<\/h4>\n

Con estas acciones, Apple quiere demostrar que esta comprometida con el medio ambiente, a pesar del creciente problema que los desechos electr\u00f3nicos representan. Hace un par de semanas anunciaron que el total de sus instalaciones a nivel mundial operan con energia limpia al 100%, incluyendo tiendas al por menor, oficinas e incluso centros de datos en 43 pa\u00edses.<\/h4>\n
