{"id":9943,"date":"2018-05-02T08:27:53","date_gmt":"2018-05-02T14:27:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=9943"},"modified":"2018-05-02T08:28:38","modified_gmt":"2018-05-02T14:28:38","slug":"tomar-paracetamol-durante-el-embarazo-puede-provocar-autismo-y-tdah-en-los-bebes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/salud\/tomar-paracetamol-durante-el-embarazo-puede-provocar-autismo-y-tdah-en-los-bebes\/","title":{"rendered":"Tomar paracetamol durante el embarazo puede provocar autismo y TDAH en los beb\u00e9s"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"intext\">\n<h4>Hasta ahora, cuando una mujer embarazada ten\u00eda la mala suerte de sufrir fuertes dolores o fiebre\u2026 sab\u00eda que solo podr\u00eda contar el paracetamol, por ser considerado un medicamento \u201cseguro\u201d durante la gestaci\u00f3n.<\/h4>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h4>Sin embargo, cient\u00edficos del Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n del Medicamento de la Universidad Hebrea de Jerusal\u00e9n acaban de publicar un\u00a0estudio en la revista\u00a0<em>American Journal of Epidemiology<\/em>, donde relacionan la exposici\u00f3n prolongada al acetaminof\u00e9n (paracetamol) con trastornos de espectro autista y d\u00e9ficit de atenci\u00f3n e hiperactividad. Y lo que es a\u00fan m\u00e1s preocupante: ser\u00eda suficiente con una peque\u00f1a dosis -mantenida en el tiempo- para que el beb\u00e9 sufra estos problemas del neurodesarrollo.<\/h4>\n<h4>Este metan\u00e1lisis ha revisado siete estudios de cohortes, con 132.738 madres e hijos durante un per\u00edodo de tiempo entre 3 y 11 a\u00f1os, y se\u00f1ala un aumento del 30% en la incidencia del riesgo relativo de TDAH (Trastorno por D\u00e9ficit de Atenci\u00f3n e Hiperactividad) y un aumento del 20% en el riesgo relativo de sufrir TEA (Trastornos de Espectro Autista) cuando las madres hab\u00edan consumido paracetamol durante el embarazo.<\/h4>\n<div><picture><source srcset=\"http:\/\/fotografias.lasexta.com\/clipping\/cmsimages01\/2017\/09\/19\/B262D81D-39FA-43DE-8CB6-1BBE182C6A6C\/\/64.jpg\" media=\"(max-width:520px)\" \/><source srcset=\"http:\/\/fotografias.lasexta.com\/clipping\/cmsimages01\/2017\/09\/19\/B262D81D-39FA-43DE-8CB6-1BBE182C6A6C\/\/60.jpg\" media=\"(max-width:1023px)\" \/><source srcset=\"http:\/\/fotografias.lasexta.com\/clipping\/cmsimages01\/2017\/09\/19\/B262D81D-39FA-43DE-8CB6-1BBE182C6A6C\/\/58.jpg\" media=\"(min-width:1024px)\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/fotografias.lasexta.com\/clipping\/cmsimages01\/2017\/09\/19\/B262D81D-39FA-43DE-8CB6-1BBE182C6A6C\/\/64.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/picture><\/div>\n<h4>El exceso de fructosa en el embarazo puede danar la placenta | Sinc<\/h4>\n<h4><strong>Sospechas cient\u00edficas<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4>\u201cNuestro descubrimiento sugiere una relaci\u00f3n entre el consumo prolongado del acetaminof\u00e9n y el aumento en el riesgo de autismo y TDAH. Sin embargo, este aumento en el riesgo es peque\u00f1o y los estudios previos tienen carencias importantes\u201d, advierte el doctor\u00a0<a title=\"Ilan Matok\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eurekalert.org\/pub_releases\/2018-04\/thuo-pau042318.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ilan Matok<\/a>, director del Laboratorio de Investigaci\u00f3n en Farmacoepidemiolog\u00eda de la Universidad Hebrea y coordinador del estudio. \u201cSi bien es cierto que un uso abusivo de cualquier medicamento durante el embarazo est\u00e1 contraindicado, consideramos que nuestra investigaci\u00f3n no deber\u00eda alterar los consejos actuales y las mujeres no deber\u00edan dejar de tomar paracetamol cuando sea cl\u00ednicamente necesario\u201d.<\/h4>\n<h4>A pesar de este mensaje tranquilizador y de se\u00f1alar que la fiebre y el dolor intensos durante el embarazo pueden afectar negativamente al feto, no es la primera vez que la comunidad cient\u00edfica alerta sobre los posibles efectos del paracetamol en el desarrollo neuronal del beb\u00e9. Ya en 2016\u00a0otra investigaci\u00f3n\u00a0publicada en\u00a0<em>JAMA Pediatrics\u00a0<\/em>analiz\u00f3 la relaci\u00f3n entre los problemas de conducta que surgen en la infancia y la exposici\u00f3n intrauterina al acetaminof\u00e9n, en concreto en las semanas 18 y 32. Tambi\u00e9n la Universidad de California (UCLA), en colaboraci\u00f3n con la Universidad Aarhus de Dinamarca public\u00f3 en 2014\u00a0otro exhaustivo estudio\u00a0-con una muestra de 64.322 madres e hijos analizados entre 1996 y 2002 en Dinamarca, para comprobar si hab\u00eda \u201celementos ambientales\u201d que hubieran influido en la hiperactividad de los ni\u00f1os. De nuevo, detr\u00e1s de la sombra del TDAH se manifestaba el consumo de este analg\u00e9sico durante el embarazo.<\/h4>\n<h4>\u00bfQu\u00e9 quiere decir todo esto?
